The Promise of Artistic Process
OPPORTUNITY: Fran Kick and Scott Edgar created a series of videos from a Skype interview discussing the topic of social emotional learning and social emotional leadership in June of 2020. Following the interview, there was such an enthusiastic response, that Fran asked Lori Schwartz Reichl about co-writing an article.
RESULTS: Using a portion of the interview, Fran, Lori, and Scott crafted an article for NAfME’s Music in a Minuet online blog in October of 2020. The article was then picked up as the cover story of NAfME’s Teaching Music Magazine in January 2021.
