with Drum Corps International
OPPORTUNITY: Fran Kick developed a three-year rotation of pre-event, stadium-sized, team-building leadership programs for Drum Corps International from 2012-2019. The goal was to design an interactive inside-the-stadium educational experience that would help promote more groups to pre-purchase tickets while giving participants a series of leadership learning lessons.
RESULTS: Over the course of eight years, Fran Kick facilitated 48 programs in 15 different collegiate and NFL stadiums including: Lucas Oil Stadium, the Alamodome, the Georgia Dome, and Detroit’s Ford Field. Anywhere from 500 to 5,000 students per event attended each program. Pre-season group sales increased 211% from 2014 to 2016 with overall full-season group sales increasing 172% from 2015 to 2017.
In addition, each year geographically-targeted marketing materials—including flyers, postcards, promotional video, and web assets—were created for Drum Corps International to use in promoting the Kick Start Your Season with DCI events.
