Drum Major Leadership Academy
OPPORTUNITY: Beginning in January 2021, Fran Kick entered into a multi-year consulting agreement as a Strategic Educational Consultant to DMLA. In this advisory role, Fran advises and guides the organization towards long-term growth and success. He conceptually helps with program design, educational content, leadership curriculum, and offers guidance on key elements of their marketing and advertising strategies.
RESULTS: From 2021 to 2022, DMLA experienced a 20% year-over-year increase in the total number of participating students and a 32.5% increase in paying students. 2022 also saw a 32% increase in the number of new first-time high schools with participating students.
The Drum Major Leadership Academy (DMLA) brings high-value, low-cost leadership training to more than 6,000 student leaders from 500+ band programs nationwide. Since it’s founding in 2018, the Drum Major Leadership Academy has quickly risen to become one the world’s leading producers in virtual leadership and conducting training within the marching arts.
