Matt McCombThe programs at both the Grand Nationals Semi-Finals and the DCI Semi-Finals were great. Being in a room with music educators and marching music fans alike was a fun experience. Being able to talk and share ideas with people from across the country was truly awesome. As a future music educator about to graduate in eight short months, I feel that I gained a great deal of knowledge and information that will help me in the field. Furthermore, the networking connections I have made through different people in different places are something I will cherish. I feel that these two experiences were a phenomenal way to getting future music educators in one room to discuss the topic of the future.

LilaThe DCI Semifinals event was an amazing experience! I learned so much inspirational information about visual manipulation and planning a show. I am currently in the process of applying for drum corps internships as a result of this AWESOME day. If you have the chance to go, you need to take it.

Gary Hall, Music FacultyMy students felt that the entire BOA Grand Nationals weekend experience was of tremendous educational value. In fact, a quick show of hands indicated that the entire instrumental music class is planning on attending again. The overwhelming response was absolutely positive!

Marshall Kimball, Music ProfessorI took my Marching Band Techniques class to this event last year. it was extremely worthwhile and educational for all my music education students. From the presentations to the performances of the bands, my students were able to accumulate information that will help them in their future careers as instrumental music educators. I am pleased this opportunity is being given again. It takes the classroom into a very practical arena.

Jessica MetzgerThe Grand Nationals Semi-Finals as well as the DCI Semi-Finals Experiences for college students majoring in music education were probably the most exciting and educational days of my college career to date. All the speakers were great and very motivational. Getting to know other music education majors was also another aspect I enjoyed. It was an overall fantastic experience.
